Organisations are confronted with a rapidly changing environment that is more and more characterised by risk and uncertainty. To meet this challenge, many organisations have implemented Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), although many still struggle for the risk management to make a real difference. This training course shares practical ways to use risk management, that enable people to make an impact without wasting time.
This training course provides a practical approach to carrying out effective risk management, primarily at the Board level. It draws on the practical experience of DNV’s ERM practice and resource into the benefits of ERM carried out for AIRMIC.
The training covers the following subjects:
- The principles of risk management
- The risk assessment process
- Strategic risk mapping
- How to facilitate a risk assessment workshop
- Risk management and corporate governance
The training will be provided in English with English materials, in two consecutive days without evening programme, with a maximum of 16 participants. It is exercise based.
Target group:
This training is meant for everybody with a leading role in risk management.
Objectives:
At the end of the course delegates will:
- Be able to apply risk management in a flexible manner with a foundation in the principles of risk management and knowledge of the risk management process
- Be able to carry out strategic risk management and facilitate corporate risk assessment workshops
- Have a understanding of the elements of a risk management system and the corporate governance context
