Purpose

​DNV Business Assurance provides a range of courses related to the different standards, from basic introduction courses to advanced auditor courses, enabling those involved in implementation and auditing in your organisation to efficiently contribute to improving your environmental performance. The most common standard for environmental management systems is the ISO 14001 standard, as well as the EN 16001 standard for energy management. There are also other environment standards, such as EMAS (The Eco Management and Audit Scheme), and various national schemes.

ISO 14001:2004 Internal EMS Auditor Course This course has been designed to provide an understanding of the audit process and how to realise its true potential. Based around the requirements of the Environmental Management System (EMS) Standard ISO 14001:2004 and the ISO 19011 International Audit Guidelines, the course deals with the performance of value-added auditing.​ ISO 14001:2004 EMS Auditor/Lead Auditor Course ​This course has been designed to develop a clear understanding of environmental management in the modern era and provide those involved in audit conduct and management with the skills needed to fulfil their role. ISO 50001:2011 Energy Management System Implementation Course ​This course has been designed to help participants understand the requirements of the Energy Management Systems implementation requirements as per ISO 50001:2011 standard. ISO 50001:2011 Energy Management System Lead Auditor Course This 5-days course equips participants with the knowledge and skills required to carry out effective energy management audits with the sole purpose to optimise energy costs
