Safety Management Barometer #2: Physical Conditions

A | A | A

You’re talking the talk, but your workplace doesn’t show it. You know that there is a strong correlation between a best in class safety culture and an operation that is in order. An operation’s physical conditions are strong indicators that their safety management system is working…or not.

DNV invites you to join us for this second of a three-part series, Safety Management Barometer #2: Physical Conditions. During this session, we’ll discuss how the general conditions of the workplace can provide valuable input for improving your safety management system. During this hour, we will cover:

  • What to look for in terms of how physical conditions can point to system deficiencies
  • How to use inspection techniques to find the root/basic causes of substandard conditions
  • Improving inspection processes that link to other safety management program elements.

This session is the second of a 3-part series. Next, Safety Management Barometer #3: Documented Systems.
