AS/EN 9100

​The AS/EN 9100 series of standards for the aerospace industry ensures quality in all parts of the supply chain of the aerospace industry.

AS/EN9100
 
AS9100 is the quality systems aerospace model for quality assurance in design, development, production, installation and servicing.
 
AS9100 was developed using the ISO 9001:2008 standard. It builds upon requirements to produce a globally harmonized standard that meets the requirements of aerospace companies worldwide.
The first standard available for use across the global aerospace community, AS9100 adds the additional requirements necessary to address both civil and military aviation and aerospace needs.

AS/EN9110
 
AS/EN9110 is the quality systems aerospace model for quality assurance in maintenance, repair and overhaul of aerospace parts.
 
AS9110 was developed using the ISO 9001:2000 standard and builds upon its requirements to produce a globally harmonized standard that meets the requirements of aerospace companies worldwide – in addition to the enhanced regulatory requirements to which aerospace repair stations are subjected to.

AS/EN9120
 
AS/EN9120 is the quality systems aerospace model for quality assurance in warehousing and distribution of aerospace parts.
 
AS9120 was developed using the ISO 9001:2000 standard and builds upon requirements to produce a globally harmonized standard that meets the requirements of aerospace companies worldwide – in addition to the enhanced regulatory requirements to which aerospace distributors are subjected to.
 
AS9120 is for use by organizations that procure parts, materials and assemblies and sells these products to a customer in the aerospace industry. This includes organizations that procure products and split them into smaller quantities.
 
This standard is not intended for organizations that rework or repair products. Organizations that perform work that affect or could affect product characteristics or conformity shall use AS9100 or another quality management system standard.
 
AS9003
 
AS9003 is a US standard with no equivalent document in Europe or Asia. It is meant to be used by smaller suppliers, providing non-critical, non-complex aerospace parts. AS9003 focuses on inspections and tests as means to insure product integrity.
