Low Voltage Directive
The Low Voltage Directive is mandatory and applicable for electrical equipment with a voltage rating between 50-1000 VAC or 75-1500 VDC.
Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC)
Electrical and electronic products to be placed on the market in the EU and EEA (European Economic Area) must comply with the requirements of the EMC Directive.
R&TTE Directive (1999/5/EC)
The Radio and Telecommunications Terminal Equipment (R&TTE) Directive (1999/5/EC) gives the requirements that radio- and telecommunications equipment will have to comply with to be CE marked.
