Our organization

DNV Business Assurance has a network of 1600 employees in 48 countries. From January 1, 2011 DNV Business Assurance was established as a separate legal entity with it's own sub-brand within DNV. As of 1 March 2012, DNV has now established a group structure to manage the strong industry positions it now holds. As a result operations will be carried out through three separate companies: DNV Maritime and Oil & Gas, DNV KEMA Energy & Sustainability, and DNV Business Assurance.

DNV Business Assurance delivers certification, assessment and training services to assure the performance of companies’ systems, products and organizations. The global headquarter for DNV Business Assurance is in Milan, Italy.

Our operations
DNV Business Assurance operations are divided into four divisions:
  • Division North and West Europe
    (Headquartered in Oslo, Norway)
  • Division South Central Europe and Middle East
    (Headquartered in Milano, Italy)
  • Division North, Central and South America
    (Headquartered in Houston, United States)
  • Division Asia and Australia
    (Headquartered in Shanghai, Greater China)
Executive Leadership Team
The Executive Leadership Team is the CEO’s management team, dealing with strategic issues, budgeting, planning and operations. Members are:
